Funding for and operation of programs benefiting older adults. Service Area: Delaware, Fairfield, Fayette, Franklin, Licking, Madison, Pickaway, and Union counties. Planning and development services – technical assistance for new or existing programs. Provides information and referral. Administers passport, volunteer guardian, adult foster home, and residential state supplement programs.

Professional and paraprofessional workshops on issues pertaining to older adults. Offers “Healthy, Well, and Wise” presentations on health education to community groups. Provides “Helping with Health” in-service training for paraprofessional staff of care facilities, home health agencies, and senior centers. Provides Medicare consumer education. Offers “Caregiver’s Toolbox” workshops for family caregivers.
