Mon-Fri, 8:00am-4:30pm
Eligibility: Services are free. We serve all victims of misdemeanor crimes in Fairfield County.
Intake
Procedure:
A victim comes to the prosecutor’s office and fills out an intake form and may meet with a victim advocate and/or prosecutor to access the victim’s immediate safety needs. The prosecutor may choose to file charges immediately or request further investigation of the matter.
Additional
Information:
Victim safety is the focus of our work with over 500 domestic violence cases a year. We collaborate with all Fairfield County agencies to present a team approach to victimization of women, children, elders, and our communities at risk populations.
